IIFMENA 2016 app for iPhone and iPad

The Big Heart foundation, with the United Nation Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN Women), are co-hosting the second edition of the conference : "Investing in The Future: Building the Resilience of Women and Girls in the Arab Region”, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah.

The conference will take place in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, on the 19th and 20th October 2016. The conference will bring together government representatives, international organisations, non-governmental organisations, gender equality practitioners and leaders, academics and other experts from the region and beyond to review and discuss the advancement made of women and girls and the importance to ensure a sustainable approach to development and humanitarian programming that maintains resilience of women and girls at the core.
